TRUST ME

I think that the characters demonstrate their desire to trust, and their reluctance to trust, by swearing to hamlet to heaven that they won't say anything to anyone about their discussions. We know that trust is an issue for hamlet, since he really didn't seem to talk a lot about his discussion with his father to his friends. And how his father would only talk to him privately so no one would hear his conversation with Hamlet.
