THE BEGINNING OF MACBETH, EXPLAINED

At the begging of the novel Macbeth by Shakespeare, the play opens with thunder and lightning as the three witches enter and talk about "Fair is foul, and foul is fair". I think that fair might be that something good might happen to Macbeth and foul might be something evil or tragic might happen to him. Like winning or losing in a battle, which might also be a foreshadowing in the play, if Macbeth is in a big battle of life or death and he will take a big risk. Later in the play there's like this this one soldier who acts like a reporter and talks about how Macbeth was doing in battle. Like how he was killing everyone in battle and showing no mercy to no one from the enemy side and he will make a fortune later on. Later on in the play the witches make a prediction about Macbeth becoming fill with riches and maybe even becoming a king. My first impression on Macbeth was WOW!! this guy is a bad ass who has no mercy and is willing to kill anyone and won't leave no one alive to tell his story in the battle and on Banquo I don't really have no thought in him yet. Macbeth has also been appointed as the new Thane of Cawdor who was once a powerful soldier and Macbeth comes along to steal his idol
